Industry stands by education

At a recent request from us for 2 old barrels to be used in our campus for students, Apex Wine Club India took the matter to the industry. An immediate response was from Sr. Management of Grover Zampa. Their cooperation is exemplary and we are equally thankful to AWCI, Mumbai for arranging the barrels right to the stage, where we only had to lift the gift of GZ and bring them to our campus.

Thrilled to receive the prestigious Wine & Spirit Education Trust Outstanding Alumni Award presented by JancisRobinson.com OBE MW. The award recognises WSET alumni who have made an exceptional contribution to creating positive change within the global drinks community. It is an honour to be chosen among 26 formidable candidates across 15 countries and a monumental occasion for me, as I was the first Indian to be accepted and complete their flagship Diploma program from the WSET School London 2010, and today am the first from my country to receive such a distinguished recognition.

The felicitation was held at the majestic Guildhall in London, with over 600 attendees from around the world, including the newly minted Diploma graduates. I was given the opportunity to deliver a speech outlining my journey, struggles, and words of advice to the young Diploma graduates.Winning this award has once again reminded me that success is a responsibility and I must keep marching forward, believing in my dreams and contributing positively to the world of wines, always ensuring that India has a place at wine tables around the world.
Jai Hind and Cheers!
